The problem
Cash advance and pre-auth flows are simple to describe and unforgiving in practice. The money moves in one system, the record lives in another, and at close of business somebody has to prove the two agree. Most of the real engineering is in that proof, not in the transaction.
What we built
One platform behind several front ends — attended POS, unattended kiosk, and mobile — so a transaction is recorded identically wherever it originated. Reconciliation and compliance reporting are designed alongside the transaction path, not bolted on the first time an auditor asks a question.
