ATM & Kiosk Platform

Self-service software running on Genmega hardware

Overview

The software that runs on physical ATMs and self-service kiosks, integrated directly with Genmega hardware — dispensers, printers, bill acceptors, scanners and encrypting PIN pads — through a hardware bridge that keeps the interface layer clean.

The problem

Kiosk software fails at the seam between a web-grade interface and vendor SDKs that were never designed for one. A dispense that half-completes, a printer that jams mid-receipt, or an acceptor that disagrees with the journal becomes a cash discrepancy somebody has to explain the next morning.

What we built

A hardware bridge sits between the application and the vendor SDKs, so the interface speaks one documented protocol instead of six. Every cash-affecting operation is journalled before it happens and reconciled after — which is what turns a discrepancy into something explainable rather than mysterious.

Worth knowing

  • Built and proven against live hardware, not a simulator.
  • Deploys are versioned with a rollback path — a bricked kiosk is a truck roll, not a hotfix.
  • Third-party acceptors and recyclers integrate behind the same bridge protocol.
